Dr. Daniel Okoh

Dr. Daniel Okoh is a research scientist at the Space Environment Research Laboratory (SERL), Centre for Atmospheric Research (CAR), National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA), Abuja – Nigeria. He is a first class graduate of the Physics & Astronomy Department, University of Nigeria. He holds a Distinction MSc Degree in Space Physics from Rhodes University, South Africa, and a PhD in Astrophysics, University of Nigeria. Daniel Okoh’s research interests are in the areas of Space Science & Astronomy, and he particularly enjoys training young minds in the field. He is author of the book “MATLAB Programming”, and with a good experience in the use of artificial neural networks, he is ranked in the top 2% of contributors to Mathwork’s File Exchange. His most recent research project is the AfriTEC project, which is being collaboratively developed by a team of scientists.
